Grounded Minds LLC ("Grounded Minds," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Budget iQ mobile application ("Budget iQ" or the "App").

1. Information You Enter Into Budget iQ

Budget iQ allows you to enter personal financial information, including:

  • Budget amounts and budget periods
  • Expenses and transaction details
  • Money-in transactions
  • Income information
  • Savings goals
  • Bills and payment information
  • Financial planning information
  • Budget categories and category limits
  • Notes and other information you choose to enter into the App

Budget iQ is designed to store this information locally on your device. Grounded Minds LLC does not operate a Budget iQ user account or backend service that receives or stores this financial information.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Information you enter into Budget iQ is used by the App to provide its budgeting and financial planning features, including calculating spending, remaining budget amounts, financial plans, transaction history, and related information.

Because this information is stored locally on your device, it remains under your control.

3. Data Collection

The current version of Budget iQ does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other account information to Grounded Minds LLC.

Grounded Minds LLC does not sell your personal or financial information.

Budget iQ does not use your financial information for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Budget and financial information entered into Budget iQ is stored locally on your device.

Because Budget iQ does not currently maintain a cloud account or backend database for your budgeting information, Grounded Minds LLC may not be able to recover your locally stored information if it is deleted or lost.

Deleting the App may result in the deletion of locally stored Budget iQ data, subject to the storage and backup behavior of your device and operating system.

5. Third-Party Services

Budget iQ may rely on services provided by the operating system or app distribution platform, such as Apple, to distribute and operate the App.

Those third parties may process certain technical, diagnostic, purchase, or device information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Grounded Minds LLC does not control the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

6. Data Sharing and Sale

Grounded Minds LLC does not sell, rent, or trade the personal financial information you enter into Budget iQ.

Because Budget iQ's budgeting information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to a Grounded Minds LLC backend, we do not share that locally stored financial information with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Children's Privacy

Budget iQ is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through a Grounded Minds LLC account or backend service.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to Grounded Minds LLC, please contact us so that we can address the issue.

8. Security

We take privacy seriously and have designed Budget iQ to minimize the amount of information transmitted to Grounded Minds LLC.

However, no device, software application, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security protections on their devices.

9. Your Choices and Control

Because Budget iQ stores budgeting information locally, you can manage the information within the App using the available features.

You may also remove locally stored Budget iQ information by deleting the App, subject to your device's operating system and backup settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Budget iQ evolves, including if we introduce new features, cloud services, accounts, analytics, subscriptions, or other functionality.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
